Boys & girls clubs of tustin

(2019 – Present) Parentis Foundation launched the Ray Alvarado Reading program at the Tustin Boys & Girls Club. Barbara and Ray Alvarado were very involved in the Tustin Boys & Girls club through the years. In addition to coaching many basketball teams, Ray was a board member (1976-1981 & 1995-1999) and president (1977-1978). He and Barbara have always been champions for youth development and looked for ways to create opportunities for all children to reach their full potential in life. The Empowering Readers Orange County (EROC) program seemed the perfect way to honor Ray’s legacy.
